Do you love to cook but find yourself always eating takeout or warming up prepackaged food? In addition to teaching techniques and some great recipes, this class is about developing a system:

Keep your pantry stocked with essentials at all times.
Learn to shop efficiently - no repeat trips, no wandering aimlessly
Master simple techniques for delicious food.
Use a minimum of equipment.
How to shop at a farmers market.

If 3 people show interest we'll find a time and agree on an agenda via email etc.

Mainly, this class will be about having fun, cooking and eating. I'm imagining that it'll be either one 4-5 hour session or a few shorter sessions.

UPDATE: I'm moving the class to a bigger venue so if you are interested you can still sign up.

<teacher-note>I'm an enthusiastic home cook. My wife and I both work full time in addition to raising 2 kids. When I cook for friends they always complain that they wish they could cook more but they have no time. Most of the time they have more time than me.

I'm also passionate about the sustainable food movement, and believe that buying and cooking your own food is a crucial element of responsible and ethical living.</teacher-note>
